Painful intercourse (vulvodynia, vestibulodynia, vaginismus, dyspareunia)

Chronic pain of the genitals and pain during intercourse, often with normal gynaecological findings — physiotherapy can relieve it considerably.

Painful intercourse (vulvodynia, vestibulodynia, vaginismus, dyspareunia)

Many women suffer chronic pain of the internal and external genitals, and pain during intercourse.

Although gynaecological examinations come back normal, the pain and discomfort are considerable and often exclude them from intimate life.

The primary treatment is pharmacological, surgical or psychotherapeutic, and sometimes small corrections in aesthetic gynaecology are enough. As support, we use physiotherapy techniques and exercises that can relieve pain and improve quality of life.
