Headaches, a clicking jaw while eating, worn-down teeth, limited mouth opening — these are usually not separate problems but symptoms of an overloaded temporomandibular joint and chewing muscles.
Dental physiotherapy restores normal tone and function to the structures of the head and neck. I work alongside dentists, orthodontists and prosthodontists — therapy is sometimes a precondition for successful orthodontic or prosthetic treatment, and often a complement to it afterwards.
